That's funny! There's an Australian company also called Skywest Airlines. (http://www.skywest.com.au) I don't know this, but that could be the company that they're talking about but the writer got the wrong Skywest in the article.

Well both articles, and some others I found, mention Utah, and Ralph Atkin, Founder of SkyWest Airlines. Pretty funny reading it if you research deeper.

BTW Skywest in Austrailia was recently bought out by someone else.

J. Ralph and Jerry Atkin are two different people................ same airline, though. Ralph Atkin got involved some years ago in a Metro outfit in Europe, so helping out flailing airlines is nothing new for him.
