Any idea why? I was under the impression they weren't exactly fat on F/O's, and I thought the last class was 10/30. Everyone was talking about the IOE backlog, but 4 monthes? So my real Q... is the 120 flying being reduced?

I talked to Camielle a few days ago and she said there is a class of 8 on January 8, 2007 and there are about 20 people in the pool. She said that they were just not getting as much movement through the 120 as they were over the summer. Hope it picks up.

The reason why there isn't as much movement off the brasilia compared to this summer is that the 8 month hiring freeze last year means that pretty much everyone who wanted to transition to the jet has taken it by now (or is holding out until after the holidays) or is seat locked until at least March. They're breaking the seat lock on an "as needed basis", which apparantly only amounted to six or seven guys for a projected thirty transitions.

OK...........OK. Got it. Saw it posted many times here and assumed it was accepted shorthand. EMB-120. Better?

Yes...much better. Hope you get to fly the great airplane known as the EMB-120 Brasilia. It is a lot of fun and will prepare you well for the next stage in your career. Master the systems on that plane and the rest is cake.
