Hello all,
Skyway had 65 on furlough and over the next month will be recalling into the September 17, 2001 class. I know there are a few people out there who were in that class - looks like you might be getting a call soon, if you haven't already.
Somehow Midex and Skyway have managed to weather some tough going and come out somewhat okay - what with the ERJ's being pushed back a year and Dornier going into the can. The fleet plans for Skyway are still TBA (2 328Jets were supposed to arrive in October and December of this year). I also read somewhere that Midwest Express (Midwest Airlines as of 2003) will post a profit in the 2nd quarter along with Southwest, JetBlue and Airtran. Interesting, especially considering that MidEx has the oldest fleet of anyone in the U.S. We'll see how things go.
Anyone else heading back July 8th? If so, PM me, and I'll see you in Milwaukee soon!
Take care,
