Exactly. I don't remember them coming on a conference call last year and talking about the plans to start operating for Midwest. It just popped up.

The Midwest planes are growth and 4 of those new RJs, the rest are just replacement airplanes. Still doesn't explain why they are hiring so much.

They aren't hiring so much...there has been talks about stopping classes for the next couple of months. I heard no pilot interviews for march are planned.

Future stock-based compensation expense will be contingent upon the amount of future option or stock grants that are made by SkyWest's Board of Directors."

The FASB requires compaines to allocate stock options as an expense. In previous years the board has granted stock options to SkyWest employees with I think at least 3 years of service.

That makes sense since the FASB requires compensation to be reported as an expense. But what employees was this $2.6 million stock based compensation allocated to in the fourth quarter?

All employees with 3 years of service or more. It wasnt just one or one group of employees.
