Let's get one thing straight, I'm not on this forum to b*tch about not getting "thrown a bone". I'm not asking for freebies, handouts, etc. I simply want to know, what's a good DZ, who's hiring, where's the best place to start?

When money is an issue (as it can be for just about every pilot at some point), it's not easy to gas up for a 2-3 hour drive every weekend and spend hundreds of dollars on jump tickets at several different DZs. The only reasonable thing for me right now is to save your money, stay local, and be a regular.

Perhaps "throwing the bone" was the wrong phrase to use earlier on. I don't expect anything to happen without action, I have always understood that. As for your counsel, avbug, I do appreciate your suggestions.

Now my suggestion for you....go to your local Blockbuster and rent "The Big Lebowski." Not only is it a good flick but you'll understand how "his dudeness" relates to the avatar.
