Most of us have seen the pictures of the divers jumping from 727, and Connies, I was wondering is it possible to jump from a 717. I noticed on my latest flights that it has a rear slide.

Theoretical of course, just my self trying to fill the void as I had 6 crying babies around me.

after DB Cooper jumped they made all 727's rear airstairs unable to open during flight.

But the 727 we saw those jumpers jump from had the rear stair removed.....all you gotta do is take out the stair, redo the W/B and your off. Of course you could do it. You could skydive from the **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**ing shuttle if you removed the hatch.

I was asking about the 717 since I noticed on my last flight that it has an escape slide in the rear of the aircraft.

The first step in using the tail slide is to jettison the tail cone fairing...not something that you'd want to buy more than once.
