Does anyone know anything about this management team?
Diffenderffer, 54, joins a senior management team that includes:
* John Weikle, Skybus's founder and chairman who has been serving as
interim CEO. Weikle's career includes significant experience at
Airborne Express, the low-cost carrier in the air cargo industry.
* Charlie Clifton, a member of the Skybus board and advisor to the
company, who was director of ground and in-flight operations at
Ryanair.
* Ken Gile, president and chief operating officer, who joined Skybus
following 25 years at Southwest Airlines where he concluded his
career as director of flight operations.
* Toney Quillen, vice president of maintenance, a veteran of 18 years
with Southwest Airlines.
* Bud Sittig, vice president of operations. Captain Sittig spent
28 years at Delta Air Lines, most recently as general manager of
flight operations and director of flight safety.
Sounds like another JetBlue startup except for the selection of the base city. The resumes above seem impressive. Anyone know these guys?
