You clearly have no clue what your talking about so go do some homework. The gal in question lives in MSP so I suppose you would advise her that her life wiill be so much better if she commutes for Eagle or CoEx or SkyWay, ect. ect.

My $.02 on that... The way I see it, eventually I'm going to be trained on a pure jet and will likely fly a jet for the rest of my career after that. For me, the opportunity to fly a large turboprop just adds to my aviation repertoire. I'm thankful for the experience and look forward to my next type rating.

I think people were put off by the subject's perceived attitude. If her statement indicated a "holier than thou" - type attitude, it's probably better she doesn't come to XJ as that may indicate other undesireable traits that we don't need on the seniority list. However, if her statement was simply the declaration of her preference with no "attitude", then more power to her.

Holy shiite! Someone that gets it! That was always my thought.....that I will probably fly a jet for a long time....why not enjoy the time flying a turboprop. Flying the Saab and Jetstream was so much fun. I loved it!
 
It doesn't matter what aircraft you fly at what regional -- in every case the APU is MEL'd, there aren't enough air carts, and catering is always late.
 
Who cares if she wants to fly a jet? As long as she doesn't go to some alter-ego pseudo-SCAB airline like GoJet, then what does it matter? You wanna fly Saabs? Go to Colgan or Mesaba. Wanna fly Jets? Go to PCL, CMR, CHQ, or any of the other countless RJ operators out there. She'll be cured of the SJS within months of stepping foot on PCL property, I can assure you of that.

Don't forget that quality organization called Gulfstream. No doubt the most disgusting job ever.

Gulfstream is a dream job compared to that SCAB airline you work for called HoJet.
