There are many factors that went into my decision... First being that I am a few months into starting a family... The 3 weeks on 3 weeks off sched just wont do it for me.. I dont want to come back from a tour and have my 6 week old child not know who I am..

Second is the PIC Turbine... 121 pic turbine will get me to where I want to be when I retire faster than a fun 91 gulfstream job...

A good friend and coworker of mine met the guy that runs the show commuting home one night... My friend was offered the opportunity to interview for the postion and turned it down for the sched and the fact that we are the same SR at our regional and in the Ugrade process. He refered me to the man that runs the show and I pursued it agressivley... After about 5 months I was offered an interview for the postion. I was chasing a dream that I could not make reality due to my situation at home...I let the guy know and that is about it...

From what I know, one of the 4 pilots was not getting along well with the others and did not like to work... so they fired him and were recuiting me..

Raskal.. Even on reserve my regional schedule will be better than 3 weeks on 3 weeks off.. I am also in the training department at my regional so that added income and better schedule..

There are risk associated with both staying at the regional and going for the G type. In this case for me the risk was not worth the type or the cash...

Thanks for your input and opinon. good luck
