Anyone with info on what there is in FSD? I've got a 3 day going up there. Thx in advance Everyone.

Ugh. Nothing that I know of. We always referred to FSD as "F***ing South Dakota" for a reason.

:)

You can waste a couple of hours going down to the Falls. There is a big observation tower that gives a very nice view of it.

Other than that, I hope you have a laptop.

Maybe others will have better advice.

Good luck.

If you have a rental, head up to Pipestone, MN. It's about a 45 min drive NE of SF... check out the Pipestone National Monument. I used to live there and it was always nice and a good way to kill a couple of hours in the process.

There's a good microbrewery near the falls (north of the Holiday Inn) and a blues club just north of the Holiday Inn. Also, Minerva's restaurant is really good, it's south of the Holiday Inn.

The Holiday Inn is ok, too. ;) TC

Mitchell is about an hour west on the interstate. It is home of the worlds only cornpalace. Their is also a Cabela's right off the interstate in Mitchell. If you golf their is some nice courses in the area and they are very reasonalble.

Holiday Inns, cornpalaces, and Cabelas.

dammm...

:pimp:

KPIR rocked man. There were these two really hot chicks at the bar/restaurant and....well....

You must be talking about those two Buffalo that sometimes wander in off the prairie. They might not be much to look at, but if nothing else, the Buffalo Women will provide you with shade in the summer and a windbreak in the winter.
