I did a search and could not find anything on this.
I live a few minutes from the DFW Simuflite/Bombardier training center. As far as Simuflite I meet their requirements, and have heard that they need Lear 25/35/55 instructors. I have sent in resumes three times both email and walked in myself. I have gotten no response, not even a letter, or email, saying that they are keeping my resume on file.
Same thing with Bombardier except I have only given them one resume. However I have heard that they do not need instructors.
I have some free time on my off days and would like the extra income of being a part-time instructor.
Thanks for any input,

Try getting in as a right seater, and work your way up.

Part-Time/On-Call Instructor. From what I have heard the right seater pay is pretty bad. The job posting for the instructor position does not say a thing about being a right seater. It just gives flight time and rating qualifications which I more than meet.

Simuflight doesn't pay anything for right seaters in any airplane I think. I did the 650 right seat program and never got paid. Flight Safety pays $10 an hour though.

Just wanted to get this back to the top. Still havent had any luck cracking this nut. Still no response from them. I wish they would tell me that they at least received my resume and had it on file. From my point of view I have no way of knowing it ever made it. It says no phone calls on the job page too. Whats a guy to do??
Thanks in advance,

Have you walked in and talked to the Learjet Program Manager? That's what I would do. He should be able to tell you what the deal is.

I have walked in. However I did not attempt to talk to the Program Manager. I felt that since the job section of their website discouraged calls from instructor applicants they then would not want these same applicants pestering the Program Manager. Coencidently a friend of mine is there doing recurrent and asked his instructor if he knew of anything. He said essently what you have suggested. So I suppose that some time next week I will don my interview cape and speedo and head on over to Simuflite. J/K, its not a speedo, rather a thong.
