PanAm MIA is OK... did some training there a while back:
1. Facility is decent, good cuban food within walking distance of most hotels in the area.
2. Sims are a little more sensitive than most I have flown (especially their Lear 35 sim) but usable.
3. Instructor was less than "knowledgeable". I corrected him no less than 5 times on the Lear, 3 times on the 727 systems.
4. Examiner was fair, knowledgeable, and enjoyed asking some really oddball questions that had nothing to do with flying the airplane, but then again a lot of examiners do that and they aren't grading you on your answers, just seeing how much you really DO know...
Good luck...
