Regarding Eagle: It's a pretty good company, my friends over there complain most of the time, but who in the industry doesn't? Unfortunately, I will not be returning with them from furlough, I called the other day and cancelled my spot in the class, so that will help those of you out there seeking to be hired by them, well a little anyway.

They will be hiring a lot soon too. Plan on going to San Juan most likely.
Regarding the interview/medical: I did it not too long before 9/11. You'll have to fast beforehand. They are going to test you on just about everything, vision (acuity, peripheral, color, depth), hearing (sound chamber, visual inspection), chest x-ray, blood work, urine specimen, sitting and reclining EKG, and it ends with an examination by a physician ("stand on one foot, hold your arms out", etc.). The thing to worry about however in my mind is the cognitive skills test that they do on a computer. It tests short term memory, motor skills and mental aptitude. On my day, two people failed this and were dismissed. There's not much you can do to prepare for it unfortunately. As for the interview, it is (or at least was) pretty straightforward, some trivial pursuit stuff, the gouge sites have some good info. Know your answers to the HR typical questions BEFORE you go in there. Practice them out loud, speak from the heart, be sincere and all should be fine.
Good luck there, I will miss some things, not others. I am quite happy where I am now.
God bless!
