CAE Simuflite is looking for more IPs for their new operation at Morristown. They have Falcon, Gulfstream and Hawker positions opening but are interested in anyone with solid corporate backgrounds.

Let me know if you apply and I'll keep you updated on your application. I work there and get a bonus if I recommend you and you get hired (full disclosure :)

Not Required

quick question...do you need a current flight instructors certificate to teach in a sim?

No you work under the 142 certificate, kind of like the way repair stations cover mechanics. You do get all the training a CFI gets as part of the training program.

No medical required either.

I am hawker and challenger 300 pilot

hi

I am CL30 and HS25 800xp pilot!

I am interested about instructor position at least part-time position! What is pay and benefits and is it possible to instruct other planes that you are typed in!

I would be available 10 days a month.

Hi

In fact we have a Challenger 300 comming this fall and the Hawker arrives the first of the year.

You will have to check with the management for part time pay but I think it is about $48 an hour.

They will be very interested in you if you are available 10 days a month.

You have to be typed to train in the sim, but you might be able to give Ground School instruction if you're not typed in other aircraft.

Ask around a bit folks....current instructors are leaving incredibly fast - to anywhere.

Yes do ask around but don't bite on competition inspired rumors. I guess they have been hurt by the new center because all kinds of rumors have been out there. To hear the rumors more folks have left then have ever worked here. I only know of two who have left, both to flying jobs.

Talk to IPs who are there and folks who have trained there, not folks who "heard"

well, I dont go on the "heard" thing and dont care about the competition (we use both) .....but I have trained at CAE MMU. Never got so many resumes and job inquiries from a school - ever.

At least 2 of the instructors I had have left (only 1 to a flying job) and one more soon to follow..and thats from one program. When mine showed me his work week and it was 100+hrs I understood why.

Beautiful facility, decent pay for instructing, but probably the lowest morale I have ever seen. They all shared their thoughts on why, but I wont spread that stuff here.

Maybe its growing pains and things will get better? I hope so as my experience (as far as instructors themselves) was pretty good.

All Im saying is shop carefully!
