Serious question here 350DRIVER, since you come across as a Democrat who' do you think will get the DEM ticket in 04?

Kerry, Edwards, etc, it does not matter since there is a change that is on the way.. I find it somewhat bothersome that we currently have a president in office who could not even win the "majority" "popular" vote of the American people, obviously something is wrong with this picture.... This is a aviation board not a politics board so with that being said why not address the issues that effect this industry and wait until 04" and then we will all see....

Do you think just MAYBE all those guys in uniforms and at Langley who have access to all the intel and info might just know A LITTLE BIT MORE THAN YOU??? HUH???

That is a complete and absolute joke in itself... You surely could have done better than that... You are trying to tell me that if all these people "knew" then they would not get the information out to drum up support for the war.. Get real, when Powell went before the UN this information would have came out to "prove" why the war was justified and so we had ALL allies and parties on our side and NO ONE doubting our dec. to invade Iraq. There is absolutely no reason for them to keep this information hidden and out of reach since the entire administration was relying on complete and false propaganda to "attempt" to justify this war (fortunately the UN and million others did not buy into this).... Any and all information would have been thrown out there to "prove" to the world that Iraq was a threat to the security of all invloved..

This is too funny!

What percent of the popular vote brought Bubba Clinton into iffice?

Politics 101: Show me the money. Show me whose ox is being gored.

I'm just a simple guy. I don't know what we did to piss off the guys who took down the WTC, but I'm glad we have a President who is more concerned about our survival than about offending the sensibilities of a crowd that hates us beyond reasoning or civilized discussion. Maybe we should all convert to Islam (with apologies to the many Muslims who don't subscribe to the perverted notions of the radicals and terrorists).

If memory serves, G.W.Bush won a larger percentage of votes in 2000 than Bill Clinton did in 92 or 96.

So please, argue facts and quit trying to spin the issue. BushII is a legitimate president who won the election; get over it.

So what about your boy Klinton??? Was he shooting from the hip as well? He//, maybe we also just IMAGINED that Saddam invaded Kuwait in '90? I'm sure they're also just making up all that stuff about torture and mass murder oh and about the site outsde Baghdad with airliners where terrorists were trained in hijacking techniques. Not to mention that Saddam attempted to assinate our 41st president.
Time to take off the blinders and see reality.

If you actually believe that all those uniforms and suits at Langley tell the truth to the American people all the time then you are VERY VERY naive. You right wingers believe everything that the gov't tells you all the time. You don't realize that you have to question the government and their actions to hold them accountable.

You make a very wrong assumption above. As a quasi Libertarian/Republican I question the government quite a lot. It's just that in this case I believe the evidence is convincing. Hell, even the useless UN thought there was WMD, not to mention Clinton. Making such sweeping generalizations and statements about someone whom you do not even know discredits your argument.

They (politicians and their troll administrations) are all liars, all corrupt, all greedy, largely inept, and have about as much integrity as ... well ... lawyers. Actually, that's probably where the problems begin. They're all mostly attornys. It doesn't matter what race, religeous affiliation, which party, etc. ... they are all equally bumbling, greedy, and incorrigable once they get to Washington, DC.

I say "String 'em ALL up!" I don't necessarily agree with the seccessionists and militia movements ... but I sure as Godd@mn H@ll understand where they're coming from. I believe we will see civil war in my lifetime, certainly in my kid's lifetimes.

It'll probably be LONG overdue by then.

enigma- that was a cute attempt at trying to get away from the fact that "W" DID indeed loose the popular vote during the election. < FACT - Now please explain how I am trying to "spin" that issue sir. :D Did Bill Clinton run against "W" in this last election.? ( Thank you ) Facts are somewhat difficult to dispute but people like you give us humor when you have to divert a topic back to someone else who was not even in the election in the first place. History does not lie.

Did Clinton invade a country that posed no threat to us or anyone else. I think not. Did he go against the UN and make a complete fool out of himself. I think not. Wake up gal.. The kool aid must be treating you well... I guess some must enjoy it.
BUT hey 911 was tied to Iraq right? LOL Wake UP.... You are too funny....

Thats another thing I hate about right wingers, you always compare apples to oranges! Clinton vs. W? Stick to the facts.

"Discredits" his arguments.?? You must be on the verge of insanity (or already there )prodi"gal".. I have not laughed so hard in a long time after reading your posts. You jump on a bandwagon, you are a follower, and more importantly you have absolutely nothing whatsoever to bring to "prove" anything on where you stand for what you do with regards to "why" this war was justified. Evidence is convincing in your mind.? LOL I would ask you where all this evidence is present day BUT I realized that it is oohhh soo "secretive" and the gov't does not want us to find out.LOL . "Useless UN"? - You are a very "bright" one I see...:D (no sarcasm intended)

stay on the cargo side since you can praise "Wdumbya" all you want and no pax will have to get offended.:D

They can't except the fact that "Wdumbya" lost the popular vote so they have to throw Clinton in to an election that he wasn't even in. LOL :D :D

could this get any funnier.?

Three times in history a candidate has won the popular vote but lost the election in the Electoral College.

In 1824, Andrew Jackson won both the popular and the electoral vote—that is he received more votes than any of the other candidates. But, no one in the four-man race won a majority, or more than 50%, in the Electoral College, so the House of Representatives decided the outcome. The House picked John Quincy Adams, who had come in second in the popular and electoral votes.

In 1876, Samuel J. Tilden won 51% of the popular vote, while Rutherford B. Hayes captured 48%. However, Hayes won 185 electoral votes, while Tilden got 184. A special electoral commission picked Hayes to be president.

In 1888, Benjamin Harrison became president by winning 233 electoral votes, even though he received only 47.8% of the popular vote. His opponent, Grover Cleveland, garnered 48.6% of the popular vote, yet received only 168 electoral votes.

Doing Something

I still beleive that there will be WMD found in Iraq. Whether or not the war was justified can be agruged from both sides, HOWEVER; I am so glad that we have a man in office who is not scared to sit back and just hope that something big (9/11) won't happen again. By not doing anything is like an ostrich sticking its head in the sand and hoping that it will all just go away. I believe that old Gore would have sat back and tried to talk Osama and Saddam to death, while deep down inside he would have been scared to do anything because he wouldnt have wanted to hurt the wildlife and vegitation in Iraq and Afghanastan(what little there is).

Inaction would open the flood gates up for all those out there who hate America and what it stands for. No matter if you are Democrat, Repub or Indpen etc or what you stand for, this is still the greatest country on the face of the earth period!

Well, very professionally expressed. I surely must now yield to your vehemence, if not intellect. If you don't have much of a defensible position, attack your opponent. Classic Clinton style. Switch to decaf.

Can't we just stop this fussin' and a feudin' and just spread some love. Look to our friendly neighbour ro the north as an example and lets be peaceful and friendly and not so judgemental. Heres an idea, celebrate Canada Day on Tuesday instead of Independence Day. We will all feel better and the world will be a happier place.

First off, didn't Bush say that Saddam had a nuclear weapon's program that was only years away from developing the bomb? Today the scientist that turned over the centrifuge said it would only take a "short time" to redevlope a program with the centrifuge and schematics he had. Bush also invaded based on the lack of evidence that items, like what was surrendered today, where destroyed. The longer this drags out the more right Bush becomes. I seriously think Democrats are on the wrong side of this battle.

I remember there was a centrifuge in my high school chemistry lab. I didn't realize my high school had a Nuclear Weapons Program. I knew there was something about that valedictorian I didn't like.

Did your highschool keep it burried in its backyard?

And CLINTON would have done BETTER?!-------RIGHT

I am proud of our President not polling every action he has taken to protect the American people..........Cessna you are dead wrong and to keep showing us that you are is typical. OPERATION LIBERAL SHIELD-------------------Get Behind the Draft DODGERS

Why did the Bush campaign refuse to release his military records, as Senator John McCain and Vice President Gore both did during the 2000 campaign? Can we say "AWOL"???

Speaking of Liberals

Anyone else think that Boulder Colorado has got to be the hotspot of the liberals besides me? I swear 99.999% of that towns population is liberal. They even voted a law into effect back in Feb. that said they would not get involved in the war with Iraq. So let me guess this straight, you guys cant even fix a dang pothole on pearl street yet you can decide that a town will not get involved with something that has no affect on you? Very messed up in my opinion
