Yes, and any clod that pays that price is out of control also!

I'd pay it to get out of St Louis
Yeah, but it's your own fault. Obviously you did not take advantage of "hyper" pricing. It puts the control of the price in the pilots hands.
Yeah,,, right!
The price is a sin, and in most plces the service is worse.
Why should they offer you great service when they know your foolish enough that you're going to pay their $6.17 a gallon anyways.

And when you got to places like ORD, where their the only FBO on the field, they defintely don't have any incentive to give you any quality of service.
I quit flying into KLAS (McCarren Intl, Las Vegas) when Signature charged me $4.50 last summer. KVGT (north LV) was in the mid $2 range at the time.

AND a $45/night for tie down, for a Bonanza (KVGT is $6).

Throw in $20-30 in tips coming/going for rides, linemen, etc., and I told my wife that's the last time, inspite or their great service. They aren't worth it to me.

Too bad...I miss flying in on 19R along the strip......

Anytime I see Signature as the FBO on field....I look somewhere else to land.
