Position was filled by an individual that used to be a NW pilot. He had some issues with certain job criteria that forced hime to be terminated by NW/Delta. I have heard he is fairly sharp guy, but he likes to talk down to you about why he was let go. From what I heard it something like this: " Was on Union leave negotiating the NW/Delta merger. I rubbed some folks the wrong way and was run out the door. The pilots and management tend to eat their own when it comes to this type of stuff."

So this is his story so I am told, obviously the termination had nothing to do with negotiating. The RWLA has protection against this etc.....So now you know.
