Have you thought about JetBlue? Our minimums have recently changed to accommodate guys just like you (long time first officers without much PIC time)

Stay where you are at, go for QOL. Spirit is a bit shaky.

I agree unless you want to retire at spirit. Im sure you waited long enough at eagle and you will be a Captain at eagle before at Spirit. that is just a guess though.

I live in FLL and I am not interested in Spirit, wife worked there for a couple of years and she was always unhappy

What wife isnt allways unhappy? Spirit is not any different from any other Airline it has its problems just like every other Airline. you just have to figure out whats best for you. Do not let others do it for you make a decision and do not look back.

You forgot Ft Lauderdale.

I know so close to the US and all, you don't need a passport, they use US currency, but they don't speak english or use US driving rules. Great place to visit...wouldn't want to live there.

Back to Spirit...the money sucks, but with the O'time pay...on the last contract anyway...you can do okay. First year sucks...but it sucks everywhere. If you can and want too, you can make okay money, after that first year. I think I made near $60K on years 2 and 3. The problem is you won't have any days off. So if you want to make enough money to live on, you can sell your personal life away, or you can have days off and be broke. ;) But you will get an AirBus type. for what that's worth.

There is a lot of hiring going on right now, so keep your options open.
