Should I go to CHQ???

Im currently at ASA and have been here for 1.5 years. Just received a call for an interview w/ CHQ and was trying to get some background on the matter. Also is it true about the 3 yr upgrd?

I don't think upgrade times will be an issue next year.

That said. Yes you should go it is a great opportunity for you to get a Denver base or be a part of a premier regional or a quick upgrade or.... I don't know why anyone moves around in this field.

Why make a lateral move? It is the equivalent of you taking a paycut to go back on first year pay. Unless it is for commuting reasons, I don't see the point. That 3 year upgrade may not be their for you in 3 years.

I work for a regional that is in bankruptcy, and have thought about going over to CHQ, but decided I might as well stick it out as long as possible. Since leaving for a new airline means, another trip thru training, first year pay, probation, moving, and pay that still won't be what it is here. Just to much to make an "at the moment" lateral move and the fact that MAYBE you can upgrade quicker.

If you want to upgrade, apply to Bigsky or someone hiring street captains.
