Is it even worth applying to the PT 135 cargo operators out there with 1100TT?? I have all the other requirements for PT 135 Single Pilot ops, but don't know if the Air Cargo Carriers/Ram Air/Air Now etc, etc, will entertain anyone just shy of the minimums. Should I just wait a month to six wks to get the 1200 or shall I just send them my figures?

Depends on the company and how much time you'll get in training. I applied to RAM with 1190 and got the 10 hours during training. I guess it depends on the company.

Air Cargo Carriers is not a single pilot operation, therefore you do not need single pilot 135 mins~!!!!

Just a commercial multi ticket.

Lot of 135 twin turboprop 2 pilot crew plane cargo companies out there, the plane doesn't takeoff without a copilot and the mins for 135 copilot are exactly like the Mesa airlines and the rest of the 121 regional airline copilot mins, just a comm. multi ticket.

John,

That's the correct address. I think www.aircar.com redirects to that subdirectory. They had a mid-air yesterday with two of their a/c and they may have taken down the site...I was browsing it just a few days ago.

If you apply to an airline and they don't like you you get put on a national list called the "Do Not Hire Under Any Circumstance List". So I would be very careful who you apply to.

Seriously though, get used to sending out applications. Even if you don't meet a companies minimums at the moment if they will take your app and you want to work there, get it in! Worst case they bypass you for now. Best case they notice your perserverance after your third or fourth or one hundreth attempt and they hire you.
