Hey Guys.....
Wonderin' if anyone could help me out in finding some 'real' short fields as far as public airports go. I know of a couple private strips here in FL with maybe an 800 foot slab inside a grass strip, but any particularly short ones out there otherwise? Short in being less than about 1200ft.....obviously I'm not in a husky or anything or else I'd subtract another 1000ft :)

P.S. 1500ft can be considered short in this case if there's some hefty obstacles/hi apt elevation stuff goin on....

Thanks!

yeah, but it's 11,400 feet wide.

Here's some public use airports which actually are short:

Bold airstrip (A13) 1000'
Denali Road Commission airstrip (0Z2) 1000'
Jackalof Bay (4Z9) 1000'
Slana, (DDT) 900'
Kasitna Bay (5Z7) 800'
Nakeen (76Z) 800'
Clearwater (Z86) 700'

They're all in Alaska.
