Quick and dirty! Ask Val for a place to stay and they will hook your friend up. Bada bing bada bang! Oh and tell your buddy to have all his writtens completed prior to getting there. It will make for a very smooth transaction.

Sheble

Yes what LA said. Talk with Val.

I did a bunch of things with them.

Examiners are on staff and make sure you know what you are doing, but very fair. It's not a cake walk. Just study hard and fly lots - it is accelerated training.

Good bunch of people - right mix of play and hard work w/ beer thrown in for good measure...I'd love to CFI for them - they take care of their students and employees...

I got abused at other places when doing my PPL - went to them as a last resort and will never go anywhere except their place and ATP for ratings.

Make sure he knows to get the written tests done and out of the way...he'll have to do a lot of study / reading before and while there...You know the score - hard work + attitude = success...

I put this question in another thread, but haven't gotten an answer yet so I'll post it again... Those of you that did your CFI/CFII at Sheble, how did you feel your instructional skills were when you left? Did you feel prepared to teach or just prepared enough for the ride?

I did my CFII there and was very pleased....chose the school mostly due to the fixed cost and accelerated pace.

They basically train you to pass the checkride.
