These idiots buying carbon offsets really need to check where their "feel good" money is going. Have a friend who has been in Japan for a couple of years - they are big into paying for carbon offsets. Problem is a lot of money is going to some dictator in Africa (can't remember which one) who has made a lot of money (thus keeping himself in power) selling "carbon offsets".
