SFO-BED fuel stop

we are doing a flight from SFO to BED and wondering if anyone can reccomend a good place for a fuel stop.

Maybe Mitchell, SD (KMHE) or Huron, S.D. (KHON)- that is about 1/2 way. What are you flying?

Souix Falls looks to be under the great circle between SFO and Bedford...about 1219nm SFO-FSD and 1118 FSD-BED.

haha.... I was based there for three years. Best controllers in the world, but boy, it can get messed up in bad weather. I honestly have been number 100+ for departure.

Sioux Falls worked well for us when we needed it, good price, fast service. Easy in and easy out, too.

Sun Jet at SUX. You cant get any quicker.... Pretty decent catering if ordered early....

I have not been there in a while, but Grand Island, Ne. (GRI) is a quick in and quick out plus its way before the MSP and ORD arrival BS. May be a little out of your way though.

No idea about the price, but I agree with "broke"....find the cheap fuel in the area. Most of the ariports around there are easy in/out.

Thanks for all the input. I have SUX planned for now but didn't know if anybody knew of anyplace better. Plus always nervous going to a place called SUX.

We have used Alliance NE (AIA) several times in the past. Several long runways to choose from and have found the fuel (Avfuel Contract) to be the cheapest in the area. FBO is old and small but very nice people there. Easy in, easy out. About 950 miles from SFO.

Silver Hawk in LNK is the best for quick turns. have used them everytime to the west coast

LNK is a good one we use coming off the West coast. Plus there is a hot chick there at the desk once in a while.
