The mighty SAAB does have a cockpit jump seat...The problem is will there be enough of a weight margin to get someone in it!:laugh:

Yeah, when I worked at XJ, we very rarely were able to take anyone in the physical jumpseat. If you needed to ride up front, you weren't getting on at all, as we were probably weight critical.

Depends on where you're coming from. On short flights it can work. I used to commute from CAK to DTW, and I rode the Saab jumpseat many times. It's certainly not a comfortable ride, but it gets you there.

All I can say is that it's not tooooo bad, as long as you're not over 5'10''. If you're a big guy then it might get a little tight.

Depending on the flight, you may be able to do both at the same time.
