Hey guys,

Does anyone know where one can look up the latest service bulletins for a particular airframe, engine, or prop? I currently fly a C152 and I tried to look it up on the cessna website but could not find anything.

I am in the process of becoming the maintenance manager for my company, and I was just curious as to where to find this info. I know how to access a list of ADs, but I don't know where to find service bulletins.

Thanks in advance,
Chris.

You have to subscribe to the service releases from the individual manufacturers, they just don't give them away or publish them for the general public.

SB's are usually a subscription-based service provided by the manufacturer. You can also subscribe to companies like ATP (Aircraft Techincal Publications?) to get this information as well as AD's, etc. Great service if you have 2+ types of aircraft.

When I was overhauling an engine , I went down to the local college which has an AMT program. In thier aviation library they had all the service bulletins from various manufacturers on microfiche.

Chris,

You're going to be a maintenance manager (?) and don't have the maintenance publications, and a subscription to a data service? What gives? Tell your employer to subscribe.

avbug,

My company does not subscribe to them (it's a small company with only 1 aircraft), but our AME does. He also has all the maintenance publications. This has been one of my concerns, however. Although I can access the information quite easily by contacting or visiting our maintenance base, it would be easier to have direct access to such info at our hangar. I don't know how difficult this will be, or if it will make my job impossible??
