I say we add a another crew member who sits in a ball turret on the nose and gets to shoot the brand spankin new Goose Gatling Gun.

The ATR gets a tailgunner. :D

What the hell is a SENTINAL event? Do you mean seminal?

Yes, it's derived from the word semen. Heh.

Gregory Feith, former NTSB investigator, was on the news tonight talking about how the radar was used to keep birds away. As I recall, this was disproved years ago and was based on some very high powered radars in the 50's or 60's.

A quick Google found this:

What's the latest groupthink on the validity of using radar to keep birds away?

I meant "seminal event", but thought it sounded obscene!

I knew that being a BUFF Tail Gunner would finally turn out to have been a good decision!

I wonder if the FAA will finally allow me to get my Tail Gunner Certificate: B-52 G/H Rating :)
