been watching the new "Firefly" the complete season dvd's, and was struck by the theme song, aside from being catchy, the lyrics kinda hit home...wish i could find a job that would make me think like this :(

Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't comin' back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me
There's no place I can be
Since I found Serenity
But you can't take the sky from me

yeah? cool well make sure to watch em, or rent the dvd's very good show, interesting format, and funny too, never cared much for buffy and never saw angel but this show is good, and i'm not just saying that because the theme really speaks to me

Seriously, Star Trek meets Bonanza... It was altogether a bit wierd for my tastes...

I didn't even notice the theme song though, I was wondering why they had to try to avoid any references to a certain western religion even though the "Shepard" (or was it "Messenger?") is obviously one...

But I gotta say, that was the first show where a guy tried to smuggle his sister someplace.

actually it was vaguelly defined, he carried a bible and they mentioned it as 'the bible' but i think he's supposed to be fairly non-denominational or capapble of being multidenominational if necesary, considering the wide variety of people, please please don't let this turn into another religion thread lol

yeah the sister was strangely hot :D
as was the mechanice, wicked cute girl next door sexy
