Sent my first Student For A Checkride!

Awesome feeling...sent my first student for a checkride Today. He passed w/ flying colors,(Comm.-Multi)...It gives me a great feeling to have had a hand in helping someone pursue one their passions. I'll never forget this one.
It was an extrmely gusty day and I was a little apprehensive in sending him for the ride today, but he made me proud and the examiner said nothing but positive things about his performance.

Congrats! I sent my first one about 2 weeks ago. It was exciting and very rewarding to help someone get their license.

I sent my 18th student on a checkride 4 days ago. I've only been a working as a CFI for 3 months. All but one have been first time passes. The one that busted was actually one of my better students. He went full scale deflection on a partial panel VOR approach.

Good to hear, congrats!! I get my first three students ever on Jan 3rd, one of them is already halfway to his private... if all goes well he'll be my first sign-off. Little scary

Congratulations! I loved instructing.... Then I hit 1200hrs dual given, moved on and I miss it again. It's different to teach because you want to, rather than having to.
