Seniority At FLOPS

A bit disturbing, so I must vent ….


It seems that if you’re lucky enough to have seniority #1 at FLOPS you can circumvent the entire bid process. As many of the FLOPS pilots are aware a Citation X bid went out for a newly managed aircraft to be based in APA. According to the bid, you had to be typed in the aircraft and be willing to relocate to the Denver area, or live there already.

Well, it seems #1, who is working 23 days a month, is not typed in the X, but has managed to work himself into an unanounced third position (as a captain). Apparently all the talk of working so much overtime to pay off his current home (not in Denver) is a ruse, as he is looking to purchase a second home in Denver and pursue the X position.

This does nothing but undermine the entire FLOPS pilot group. Additionally, it helps to show management that they can continue to divide and conquer the pilots. I will give credit to Mr. #1, he is paying his dues, but everything else he does is contrary to the direction given by the 1108. Makes me suspect of were his loyalties are!

I agree about it being that way forever, I just find it disturbing that someone who "SUPPORTS" their Union is undermining all the hard work and sacrafices made by others.

Probably the same thing they did for the Netjets contract in '05, CS's matching plus 1, and the new IBB rates at NJ .... Bury their heads further in the sand. If they ignore it, it'll go away!

You will find that there will be members who pay dues but do not follow to directives by the union. The guy is likely paying dues so he can wear the pin and not get called on it by the FO. If I was his FO and I knew he was not on board-there would be no grey lines. Black and white-if he F's up I'll ASAP it every time.

It comes down to this:
You are with us or agaist us..
That simple.

When i was there i was in the high double digits.. I could not hold the falcon 50, Challenger, or even the rt seat of the g4 that being said i ran into a guy one day and if my memory is correct at the time he was fok #473 on the flops sen list yet left seat falcon 50.

Then there was clown that couldnt fly an airplane to save his life but dropped the first bombs on iraq from his f117 waltzed in here as kens tea bag polisher in the cp position then left. Last i heard he was in AZ

Honestly you guys deserve every penny and then some.. I would rather see that place go bust and have you all relocate to a real company than to see the abuse go on any longer.
