It is a Seneca 1.

Seneca I is not a twin. It's a single-engine airplane, whose engine has been split evenly side to side.

I'd go for the Duchess. Not as nose heavy as the Seneca and a little more forgiving. I do miss my 135 cargo days in the Seneca though

The Duchess is a pilots airplane, it flies much better lands much better and actually has about the same ROC on one engine. For taking loads and speed etc Seneca II all the way...But I hated that aircraft. Seneca I? Take the bus or take the Duchess.

Seneca I OMG! It's gotta be cheap...Like $ 180/hour. I borrowed one from a flight school to put a fat guy in the back and that's what I paid.
