One of my former students is moving and he needs to sell his PA-28-181. What documents are needed for the exchange of the airplane from one property to the other. Feel free to PM if needed. Thanks.
 
You will need an FAA Bill of Sale and a new FAA registration. Make sure you fill out the forms EXACTLY as the instructions say, they will send the paperwork back to you to fix if you miss a single period. Figure 6 weeks every time you have to resend paperwork to them.
 
And he needs to fill out the back section of his current registration cert, and return to the FAA at OKC.
