Seeking info. on SAS or Braathens Pilot Hiring

I have a friend who is an F.O. on the 737 in the U.S. and is interested in getting on at SAS or their feeder, Braathens Airlines. Does anyone know if either of these companies are a.) currently hiring pilots b.) ever hire foreign (american) pilots... and if both of those answers are yes, what are their requirements? Any help or information (or contacts) would be useful and appreciated. He is planning to move to Oslo in the next year or so and would like to continue flying. Thanks in advance.

From what I have heard its not easy but could be done. Might get a better response over at pprune they have a nordic forum.
