Seeking Advice

I am retired military and my be all of human existence was to get with a major airline. I tried for two years before retirement and two after. Thanks to our 9/11 idiots, most opportunities dried up. I flew part 91 corporate for small operators until I got very lucky and am now with a major oil company flying international again. I couldn't be happier with great pay, bennies, qol, retirement, etc. I was just lucky, plain and simple. I found the job on Monster and I had the qualifications for an additional job besides flying. I had no contacts with the company, but still got the job. Sometimes its the right place at the right time. Great jobs are out there, you just have to look.

As for AA, I am not accrueing seniority but am locked at 7th year pay... which still exceeds my current pay by far, I certainly haven't written them off.

I think you meant 'longevity'. I believe you will always accrue seniority.
