I got a TS while being married to a Brit, and having both Parents born in Europe. For a TS they will do some checking in the foriegn countries, but it should not be a problem. Especially if she is a HOT Thai girl. Don't sweat it.

For a Secret they are probably just going to run you thru a National Agency check. They give those out like candy if you are not a criminal.
