Anybody have any ideas about the SeaRey? Seems like a pretty quick build kit from their website, and pretty inexpensive to get started at less than $25K (without engine and instruments). I would love to have an amphibian, and this kit seems pretty straight forward and "easy" to work with.

Searey is a good build from what I have heard. Visited with the factory reps at Sun n Fun. Seemed like a quality product compared to others on the market. Based out of Orlando, they offer demo rides for a nominal fee. Many of the owners I spoke with told me to expect 500+ hours of build time. Good luck and have fun.
