I just ran across thier website. Does anyone know more than thier website has to offer?
I am thinking if I am about to be furloughed than I am at least gonna go somewhere that I can be tan. :D

I'm sure your not the first guy thats like, "if I'm furloughed I'll go to the carib and fly, they'll make me a capt...".

I bet the CP down there just loves this sh!t.
On offence or anything as I've thought the same thing myself.

Quoted from someone who replied to my question about Seaborne:

In my opinion St Croix is a pit. The rum is cheap, anything you own that is not nailed down will be stolen........ If you do go, dont live in downtown C'sted.....

However I've been keeping a close eye on all things USVI and it looks as if STX is trying to shape up. The local gov't is corrupt as he!!, but they're making strides with the tourism industry that's been plain afraid to dock there due to crime.

Corresponding with Seaborne HR myself (for MX positions) and talking with folks from the area, Seaborne is a highly respected island hopper. Other than the above quote about the area, I haven't heard a single bad thing about the company (and I've heard the area mentioned is actually getting better).

Plus, there's no place purtier than the Virgins! :D

Try the boads at http://www.vinow.com/ for local replies for St Croix...they seem to love it like I do. :)

I am not looking for the quick upgrade since I don't have a MES rating. I am just looking for a change if and when the time comes. I am just trying to keep my options open.
It could just be a daydream Jimmy Buffet style. I am sure it is a hard commute depending on who they have jumpseat agreements with.
