I've done the DAL redeye outta there a few times and it always seems quite full, never got into 1st! I try to j/s on Alaska whenever I can, they always are super nice and their cabin crews really treat you well...serve you HOT food, too, and cookies and milk on the redeyes! It is definately a place I'd like to work at. I'm glad they have a n/s between SEA and MCO.

But, back to DAL, I always seem to be able to get in/out of SEA when I need to without too much of a hastle. We have a few CVG-SEA commuters and they usually try to bid CD's to get a better commute.

Many moons ago I did SEA-ATL on my way home from AK. Frontier was good to me but it was pre 2001.

TW used to have 5 75's a day sea-stl and they ran heavy. AA cut that to 3 maddogs and it's a real crap shoot the last time I tried. DFW isn't good either.

Might try getting to LAX and using AirTran to ATL but I don't know how the loads are.

It can be very tough in the summer months, but other than that it is ok. The redeye seems to be quite full year round. You also have PDX close by if you need it.

I think the time change is what kills you when going east. Redeyes are probaby alright if you can sleep.

No matter how you look at it, that seems like a heinous commute. You sure you really want to do that?

I tried to go from PDX to MEM once. It was a lot easier to go up to SEA first, there's more options up in SEA.
