Anyone have a recommendation on a good FBO and an estimate on how long it will take to get to the Harbor Marriott?

I think Lancair Jet Center is your only choice. Not much in the way of an FBO but it'll do the trick. Not a place you want to hang out all day. Drive time to the Marriott near the harbor is 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Be sure to lock your plane.

Why not go to KSAN (unless you hate Jim's Air as much as everyone else)?

Lancair actually has a new facility at the center of the field which is new and much nicer. Should be no more than 25 minutes to the Harbor Marriott.

Good time of year for it, you can avoid the VOR-A or worse yet, the GPS 8 (shudder)
