Recently the RAH management, having gotten themselves into a staffing jam, attempted to impose either out of seniority upgrades or involuntary vacation cancellation on the pilots in order to fill the empty seats. They gave the pilots a choice of which unacceptable contract violation they preferred.

From what I understand from the comm's from the union leadership, the pilots told them to "Try it and see what happens. You won't like it."

The Executive Council is now reporting that after 2 days of meetings, the company has rescinded the "seniority bypass" and is offering to buy back vacation at 120% of value.

120% vacation buyback.. Gosh what a joke! I would need 150% before my company would see me on vacation.

Good luck to the RAH pilots please do not bend on this one.

yeah...where the heck did you get 120 from? I heard ita 150%.

2 is right above 5 on the keyboard i guess.

120 was being tossed around. The memo came out as 150 but apparently there is some doubt as to what it actually means.
