Two things become evident; The terrorists didn't have a current copy of the lexicon, nobody could accuse service industry workers and their management of being a think tank.

While it's true that hind sight is 20/20 vision, I bet if you dig the old cockpit doors out of the salvage yard and they could speak as witnesses, they would probably be able to tell a lot of stories about choking geese that lay golden eggs and which FA's put out on overnights.
