Scoop #2 on Airtran?

I had a quick question on the app process at Airtran. After you put in your app, if you are not contacted within 1 month you are supposed to wait 6 months to re apply? Does that mean that if you are going to get called it will be within 1 month? I just went to the job fair in ATL and it was great to talk with the AirTran folks.
Another question: I am trying to find a buddy of mine who is an Airtran pilot. I am sure he will give me a rec. letter. I have a layover in ATL this week. If I hang around the Airtran gates and grab an AirTran pilot, could he or she check a bid list or something to help me find my buddy? I'll be the sad looking guy in the NW uniform.

I would have asked these questions on the other "AirTran Scoop" thread, but there was someone with a similar sounding "RedTail" user name that I want to distance myself from.
