California counted on Capital Gains taxes for revenue...when the economy went down, so did it's revenue. I think Ahnold is more of a socialist than Davis, just look at his populist agenda and compare it to Davis's track record.

Do you think that economy was already starting to slow down before Bush was elected? (it was) Do you think the events that happened on 9/11 had any effect on the economy? I'm sick of both the Republican and Democratic politicians. They both take money from rich people, companies, and special interests to get elected. Then, when they're in office, they do what those people want them to do. They're just pawns helping the wealthy and powerful hold all of us average citizens down.

I hope that Arnold, since he was elected on his own, without a lot of help from the above sources, will do what is good for California and it's average citizens.
