CR9s at Air Whisky?

How does it work with the CR9 that will be added to the fleet? Will all CRJ pilots be cross-qualified on that or will certain bases (maybe DCA) have access to those aircraft? Any word on when the CR9s will be put into the system?

Strong rumors have gone around this past week that either:

A) Mesa has been fired quietly by AWA and AWAC will fill the CRJ 900 flying

-or-

B) Mesa is shifting all of their CRJ 900s east to CLT and AWAC will be adding CRJ 900s to the system in a PHX or Las Vegas base.

Oh... and the rumor that we will fly 900s for Air Tran in ATL have been going around too.

Absolutely ZERO coroboration has been given by the company. Being privately held they could keep this secret until the first batch of pilots were told to get ready for training.
