SCENIC to aquire MESA

I heard about this when I was jumpseating the other day from a very senior Scenic pilot. From what I hear they want Mesa's 1900 routes and want to add more of their own out of HII. They will go from HII to GCN then on to VGT where they already operate out of. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

After reading the "Mesa to Aquire Scenic" thread, I thought nothing could be more inane but this.
