Geez people I had to watch that video twice to look for the "scary" part. I still don't see what anyone is talking about. Maybe a little low at one point but looks like the runway was pretty short so you don't want to be landing a 1/3 of the way down the runway especially if you're doing TNGs.

Why would a normal appch cause you to float 1/3 down the rwy?
 
Yeah, I wouldn't consider that first vid scary at all... Plus if its gusty in a small airplane, the nose can swing around quite a bit, all accentuated by the camera, though. Just alittle low on the approach, that's all... Like someone else said, all a normal part of training...
 
Another day in the life of your friendly neighborhood CFI. There's a number of students who couldn't pull that off at 50 hours.
