Hey,
Anyone know where the sapaforums.org went? Did the company finally pull the plug?
PBR

There has been a bulletin posted on there for weeks that the whole thing would be going down during a server update or switch or something like that... they said it may be down for days

Genius,
Pure genius, hide the trees in the forest. Stop paying for the server, and blame the lack of forums on "the server switch" and in the meantime it fades into oblivion.

Are you one of those "glass half empty" kind of guys?

Uhhhm,
Yea, and your point is? If you are gonna say everything is "just dandy" at SKYW, you just might be one of the kool-aid drinkers.
Being a cynic is far better than being a kool-aid drinker(fool).
Check your benefits, pass, stock, COLA, ect. Not to mention pay(BHO). Brad got his aces and we got bent over.
PBR

Just asking. It has only been down one day. Nothing to freak about.

PS. I voted in 2007

Not freaking, just making an observation. We all voted, through action or inaction, that's not exactly a novel proclamation.
PBR

My goodness, I guess I will spell it out for you. There is no "NO" vote in a representative election. My "action"/vote was for ALPA. Therefore, I do not believe that I am a kool-aid drinker. Clear enough for you?

You made allegations about some big SkyWest conspiracy because the forums are down for a day (maybe a few). Yes, that seems like freaking out to me.

Every time I come to this forum and post, I regret it. When will I learn....?

I thought it was interesting that a company (SkyWest) who boasts about open communication seemed to be run like a communist country. If you say something that SGU doesn't like, expect to get called out for it (been there, done that). You can openly talk about anything you want as long as you say something nice about the company. BTW, weren't the SAPA forums supposed to be free from management's eyes? Why didn't they let everyone remain anonimous? Nothing like getting called into the chief pilot's office for making a post. Maybe that is what they meant when they bragged about an open door policy with management.

Open back door policy...........>>>???

It will all be slow in a month so you will have plenty of time to get on the sap forum.

What you guys need to do is for someone to start their own independent forum for SKW employees.

Good grief man. You need a tissue? Can you name one company where everything is "just dandy"? Didn't think so. I bet that new class Skywest is putting together just crawls up your anus and lays eggs huh?

Forums site is down due to hardware failure at our host company. Admin is working on it.

BTW, the SAPA sites are independent and are administered by pilots within SAPA. Certain posts however have ended up in the hands of Chief Pilots. In the most recent occasion, it was a fellow pilot who forwarded the post to management.

Sometimes we are our own worst enemies.

Why don't you make SAPA Forums anonimous then? How can open communication occur when guys/gals are always wondering whether or not their posts are gonna end up on the Chief Pilot's desk? Open communication is NOT encouraged at SkyWest. I've got one for ya. You know you're a SkyWester if...your pay, bennefits and ability to speak freely are steadily decrease year after year.

BTW, if you guys agree to fly that Q400 for Brazilia rates + 5% you will be worse than Lynx or Colgan. You will be the ultimate bottom feeder. Get ready, cause they're coming. What you do next is up to you.

But who pays for it?

If you want to post anonymously, come here to flightinfo. People act differently when they are in a group when everyone is wearing masks. On the sapaforums people still speak their minds but it "usually" remains respectful. Those with black helicopter complexes usually choose not to participate.

Each has its benefits, but I guess that is up to the audience you are serving.

Gee, would that be a particular over 60 management a$$ kisser? What a tool that guy is!

Back!
The GPS transceivers were installed, the black helicopters know where to hover now.
