SLC is pretty senior for ASA, and is probably going bye-bye soon. I'm planning on bumming, but I can't rely on that to pay the bills.psysicx said:Why not ASA or bumming? Most units I talked to have more time then pilots. Might want to start calling around.

Wow. Who put a quarter in you??? That has to be the longest post in psysicx history!psysicx said:Yeah the girl over at C&M got SLC right out of training. But now she is worried with all the talks of closing it. You should not have a problem bumming. One guy I talked to gets 2-4 local flights a week and one overseas trip a month. He has been doing this since May and loves it.

I was looking in to them a few months ago. One of the guys I talked to said that they don't have any of their navajos in SLC, but they would sometime in March.CoATP said:Salmon Air. They fly navajo's freight and 135 commuter to Moab and vernal. It's about 20-30 hours a week for the FO spot on the commuter butyou have to live in moab or vernal. 4 days a week sched. They're in Terminal 1 next to Continental and Southwest
You're kidding, right???psysicx said:Haha whats wrong with Mesa?
Yes, but I've been away from the wife and kids since the beginning of UPT (about 20 months). There's no way I'm volunteering to go anywhere anytime soon unless I have to for financial reasons.psysicx said:Any chance of voluntering to the desert?
Already live in West Jordan, not too far from SLC#2. Thanks for all the replies so far!psysicx said:What part of SLC are you moving to?
