Oh, and Ace, I'd like to see what you look like in person. You seem a little lippy behind your computer. I bet the image I have of you would be right on.

You should spend more time visualizing someone else, not some old pilot fart like me. Really Dude, get a grip.

Ugh

5,5 & 10....HOLY CR@P man, I have never worked at a 135 gig that did that poorly, let alone 91. The worst I have ever seen was a dollar an hour away from base (135 outfit)...20 bucks for an entire day, you must have the skinniest pilots around....ugh. I am a big fan of the expense account, no set limits, just use common sense.

Do they sell good BBQ for 5 bucks?

Well we used to have the expense account with company credit cards for most of the full-timers, but then the company thought we were cheating them and went to the new system. And, or cellphones went from 100% company paid to $40 flat rate per month. All done while the company expanded leaps and bounds.

Duderino -- that's what I thought was about the norm. We are different I guess - we don't get "per diem" but we get reimbursed in arrears the following maximums: $5 for breakfast, $5 for lunch, and $10 for dinner, depending on what meal period your duty falls during. Strange huh?

now that is pathetic:)

sure is...heck the govt. reimburses more than that. Straight actual expenses work best, and that's what I put in place over 3 years ago. We don't abuse it, and we haven't carpet-danced yet.
