I have an interview with Ryan International on Monday. Any gauge out there? Pay, work rules? The interview is for the 757. Thanks

Pay for 757 FO is $42K/yr. No per diem unless you layover, which very rarely happens. All the trips are turns, such as MKE-CUN-MKE. Many of the days are over 8 hrs flight time, so they fly with an augmented crew/IRO who sits in the jumpseat when not in a pilot seat. 121 Supplemental, you know...Work rules are whatever the company decides that day. "Fly it then grieve it" is their motto. The schedule is 7 on/7 off. They will put you up in a hotel or crew apt in your domicile, since this is seasonal work.

If you are interviewing now, it means that all the furloughees have either accepted recall or bypassed, and they are hiring for the winter tour season. Be prepared to be furloughed in April or May.

I wouldn't worry too much about the interview. They are just looking for people who will show up, be willing to accept the position, and don't have any HUGE skeletons in their closet. Be skeptical of anything they tell you or any promises they make about the future.
